My Sister’s Keeper

So, I’m officially on the band wagon for the movie, My Sister’s Keeper. The film was, by far, one of the most upsetting movies I’ve seen in a long time. But, most importantly the soundtrack is what drew me to the movie. Artists featured? Well, Greg Laswell, Regina Spektor, Pete Yorn, and of course Priscilla Ann can all be heard with beautiful vocals on the soundtrack. Most of the music is soft and slow but it is one of those albums that is perfect for a calm night at home.

The Temper Trap

Ever since I saw the movie, (500) Days of Summer, I have been listening to the song Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap. This song is so great to wake up to and one song that I’ve found myself putting on repeat for over an hour. It is a song that will get to you after a moment’s notice and suddenly it is stuck in your head.

My Favorite Highway

My Favorite Highway is a favorite of mine. Their lyrics are sweet and calm at the same time and their sound is great! The song, Bittersweet Life, is one of the best and Bigger Than Love features a piano.

Another Hollywood Undead Update

Ok, I know I’m a few days late for this…

For all you HU fans out there, Desperate Measures – the live and uncut footage of Hollywood Undead performing live, with 6 live recordings and 6 new studio recordings has been officially released! Check out their new song Dove and Grenade, it’s pretty good.

Honestly, I don’t think most of the new songs are what HU are all about. I miss the old Hollywood Undead…Check out their album!

Jamestown Story

Jamestown Story is a one man band, who, might I add, is truly talented. Dane Schmidt is the man behind the great vocals. The songs this guy produces are great and obviously the work of someone who loves song writing and singing. Currently Jamestown Story is not signed but their music is available on iTunes.
